Sarah Michelle Gellar (Hollywood Hot Sexy Celebrities Photos Biography Movies Videos Wallpapers 2011 )

Sarah Michelle Gellar Biography

Name: Sarah Michelle Gellar
Born: 14 April 1977 (Age: 34)
Where: New York, New York, USA
Height: 5' 3"
Awards: 1 Golden Globe nomination

As Buffy The Vampire Slayer, high-kicking, demon-walloping Sarah Michelle Gellar was world-famed as the Teen Queen of Scream. A fantasy for boys and a role model for girls, she was one of the Internet's main attractions. Yet, unlike most of her peers, she's not simply a product of the late Nineties' tide of programmes and movies aimed at kids (though she did surf that wave with great aplomb). She was an Emmy-winning actress way before Buffy and, a full decade before that, she was the single most controversial 4-year-old in America. These would be helpful qualifications in her search for post-Buffy film stardom.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was born in New York on the 14th of April, 1977, to father Arthur and mother Rosellen, a nursery school teacher. Her parents were not well off. No matter, because Sarah was soon supporting herself. At age 4, she was spotted by an agent while in an Uptown Manhattan restaurant with her mother, watching other kids in a talent contest. Within two weeks, she was auditioning for a part in An Invasion Of Privacy, a TV movie dealing with rape, starring Valerie "Rhoda" Harper and featuring Carol Kane and Jeff Daniels. At the audition, she was supposed to read with Harper but she'd already left for the day, so the precocious Sarah read her own lines and, putting on Harper's voice, hers too. The role, unsurprisingly, went her way.

Before the movie was aired, Sarah would already be notorious. The star of hundreds of adverts over the years, one of her first was for Burger King. This was no ordinary advert. Indeed, it was the first advert where a company claimed to out-do its rivals and named names. Thus tiny Sarah criticised McDonalds for the paltriness of their burgers and claimed to only ever eat in BK. McDonalds, naturally, were profoundly unhappy with this, and sued BK, ad agency J. Walter Thompson AND Sarah. The case would be settled out of court but, before agreement was reached, 4-year-old Sarah appeared in court as a witness for the defence. Later, invited to a friend's party at McDonalds and thinking she was bound by the "truth in advertising" act, she wore a big hat and dark glasses. These days there's no such problem - McDonalds being keen sponsors of Buffy.

Sarah's next role was as Burt Young's daughter in Over The Brooklyn Bridge, a comedy where young Jewish fellow Elliott Gould has to dump Catholic girlfriend Margaux Hemingway in order to get a loan from his uncle. Carol Kane would again feature. But Sarah's main income now was from ads, and it wasn't shabby. It would help surmount her oncoming problems.

The problems were to do with her parents. They'd split when Sarah was 8, Rosellen taking Sarah to live in an apartment on the Upper East Side.

Sandra Bullock (Hollywood Hot Sexy Celebrities Photos Biography Movies Videos Wallpapers 2011 )

Sandra Bullock Biography

Name: Sandra Bullock
Born: 26 July 1964 (Age: 46)
Where: Arlington, Virginia, USA
Height: 5' 7"
Awards: Won 1 Oscar and 1 Golden Globe

Strangely, for someone whose screen persona is usually so open and simple, it's difficult to accurately describe Sandra Bullock. Sure, she's often feted for her Meg Ryan-like girl-next-door appeal. But then, like Julia Roberts, she's also an unconventional beauty and talented comedienne. And let's not forget that her breakthrough came when she stole the show in an all-out action movie. On top of this, though deservedly famous for an irrepressibly bubbling personality, she was a student of The Method under Sanford Meisner and started off (to rave reviews) on the New York stage. Hard to pin down, is Sandra. Harder still when you know her unusually exotic background.

She was born Sandra Annette Bullock on the 26th of July, 1964, in Arlington, Virginia. Her mother, Helga, the daughter of a German rocket scientist, initially studied to be an opera singer in Nuremberg. To support her studies, she worked as a clerk, one day being called to the town's Palace of Justice (where the notorious post-WW2 trials took place). Here she was to takes letters for the new head honcho, one John Bullock. Bullock, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, was a Juilliard scholar who'd joined the Army as a runner and risen to become the boss of the military Postal Exchange for the whole of Europe.

To begin with, there was no romance between the pair. But over a three year period, with John singing at recitals (he was also a part-time voice coach), and Helga gaining renown as a dramatic soprano, they grew close and, while still in Germany, were married. John's organisational talents drew him into the Army Material Command and it was due to this work that he'd eventually become a contractor for the Pentagon, moving to Arlington and also buying a mountain property just north-west of Charlottesville. The family grew - three years after Sandra came another daughter, Gesine.

Right from the start, Sandra was a wilful and contrary child. She now recalls an incident when, at age three, with the family moving into a new home, she was directly instructed not to touch a light-bulb lying there. Her response was to karate-chop it and slice her hand horribly. It would not be the last physical injury she'd suffer as a youngster.

For an all-American girl-next-door, Sandra's formative years were thoroughly inappropriate. Much of her time was spent in Salzburg and in Nuremberg, where she lived with her aunt and grandma, attending a local school (she's fluent in German) and studying English with a tutor in the afternoons. During the opera season, she'd attend her mother's performances, sometimes appearing herself as the ubiquitous "gypsy child", or singing in the children's chorus. Also studying ballet, she quickly proved herself to be a natural performer.

Salma Hayek (Hollywood Hot Sexy Celebrities Photos Biography Movies Videos Wallpapers 2011 )

Salma Hayek Biography

Date of Birth
2 September 1966, Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico
Birth Name
Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez
Height
5' 2" (1.57 m)

The amazing Salma Hayek was born on September 2, 1966, in the oil boomtown of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. Hayek has freely admitted that she and her brother, Sami, were spoiled rotten by her well-to-do Lebanese-Mexican businessman father and her Mexican-born opera-singing mother. After having seen Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) in a local movie theatre, Salma decided she wanted to become an actress. Her education included a stint at a New Orleans convent school, where she pulled pranks on the nuns by setting their clocks back three hours. She was soon expelled. Only after attending Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana did she feel ready to pursue acting seriously.

She soon landed the title role in "Teresa" (1989), a hugely successful soap opera which earned her the star status in her native Mexico. However, anxious to make films and to explore her talent and passion, Hayek left both "Teresa" (1989) and Mexico in 1991. Heartbroken fans spread rumors that she was having a secret affair with Mexico's president and left to escape his wife's wrath.

At long last, Salma made her way to Los Angeles. The 24 year old actress approached Hollywood with naïve enthusiasm, and quickly learned that Latin actresses were, if at all, typecast as the mistress maid or local prostitute. By late 1992, Hayek had landed only bit parts. She appeared on "Street Justice" (1991), "The Sinbad Show" (1993), "Nurses" (1991), and as a sexy maid on the HBO series "Dream On" (1990). She also had one line in the Allison Anders film Mi vida loca (1993). Feeling under-appreciated by Anglo filmmakers, Hayek vented her frustrations on comedian Paul Rodriguez's late-night Spanish-language talk show in 1992.

Robert Rodriguez and his producer wife Elizabeth Avellan happened to be watching and were immediately smitten with the intelligent, opinionated young woman. He soon gave her her big break--to star opposite Antonio Banderas in the now cult classic Desperado (1995), which put her on Hollywood's map. The moviegoers proved to be as dazzled with Hayek as he had been. After her break, she was cast again by Rodriguez to star in his From Dusk Till Dawn (1996). Although her vampy role opposite George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino was a small one, it was a good credit to her box office name. Hayek's first star billing came later that year with Fools Rush In (1997) opposite "Friends" (1994) actor Matthew Perry. The film was a modest hit, and Hayek continued to rise her star in both commercial and artistic films such as: Breaking Up (1997) with an unknown Russell Crowe; 54 (1998) about the rise and fall of the legendary New York club; Dogma (1999), playing the muse in a somewhat odd comedy co-starring Matt Damon and Chris Rock; In the Time of the Butterflies (2001) (TV), the small artistic film which won Hayek an ALMA award as best actress; and the 1999 summer blockbuster Wild Wild West (1999). Her production company "Ventanarosa" produced the 1999 Mexican feature film No One Writes to the Colonel (1999), which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival and selected as Mexico's official Oscar entry for best foreign film.

The new millennium started out quietly around Salma as she was preparing to produce and star in her dream role, that of Frida Kahlo, the legendary Mexican painter whom Salma had been admiring her entire life and whose story she wanted to bring to the big screen ever since her arrival in Hollywood. It finally happened in 2002. Frida (2002), co-produced by Hayek, was a beautifully made film overflowing with passion and enthusiasm, with terrific performances from Salma and Alfred Molina as Kahlo's cheating husband "Diego Rivera". On the side was an entourage of stars including Antonio Banderas, Ashley Judd, Geoffrey Rush, Edward Norton and Valeria Golino.

The picture was a hit and was nominated for six Oscars, including best actress for Hayek, who became the first Latin actress to be nominated in the category, and won the awards for make-up and its brilliant original score by Elliot Goldenthal. Hayek established herself as the serious actress that she is and, in the same year, expanded her horizons, directing The Maldonado Miracle (2003) (TV), which was shown at the Sundance Film festival. In 2003, she starred in the final of Rodriguez's "Desperado" trilogy Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), again opposite Banderas, and has just finished After the Sunset (2004) opposite Pierce Brosnan and Ask the Dust (2006) opposite Colin Farrell. Both are scheduled for release in early 2005. In the works are Robert Altman's "Paint" and Bandidas (2006) in which she will star with her friend Penélope Cruz.

Paris Hilton (Hollywood Hot Sexy Celebrities Photos Biography Movies Videos Wallpapers 2011 )

Paris Hilton  Biography

Height : 5' 8
Nationality : American
Profession : Model/Singer/Actor
Best Known As : Party-hopping Hilton Hotel heiress and star of TV's The Simple Life

Socialite Paris Hilton was born on February 17, 1981 in New York City into the Hilton family and, along with her three younger siblings, is heir-apparent to the vast Hilton hotel and real estate dynasty. Her childhood was spent in palatial dwellings in the priciest neighborhoods on both coasts and featured a brief flirtation with the educational system, including high schooling at the ultra-exclusive Dwight School, from which she dropped out and ultimately earned her high school GED.

Living the glitzy socialite life from a relatively early age, attending exclusive parties and being covered by the gossip press, Hilton apparently became hooked on obtaining celebrity status, which was perhaps furthered by the example of her mother, Kathy Richards, who had a brief acting career herself, mostly on TV. Hilton began a remarkable and well-financed campaign to put herself in the public eye, on screen, on television and in music. This effort has included a substantial amount of physical alteration. A naturally pleasant-looking girl, Hilton underwent extensive plastic surgery, hair coloring and tinted contact lenses in her attempt to reinvent herself as "hot". Sadly, money could not buy alteration of the physical attribute she most dislikes about herself: her exceptionally-large feet.

Some skeptics have guessed that the endless parade of inane inter-celebrity feuds centering around Hilton are, in fact, publicity stunts, another front in the campaign to keep her exposure level high. It has even been argued that the infamous home video of Hilton with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon, in which Hilton performs explicit romantic activities with Rick Salomon, was part of this campaign as well. If it was, it worked. For better or for worse, it made Hilton a household name overnight, and was even widely marketed as a video, 1 Night in Paris (2004) (V).

Eventually Hilton's efforts paid off and she got some modeling work, the designers presumably relying on her notoriety. She has been an increasing presence on-screen too, in TV commercials, on TV series and in the movies, at first bit parts in movies such as Zoolander (2001), Wonderland (2003), The Cat in the Hat (2003) and guest-star roles on TV shows such as "The O.C." (2003) and "George Lopez" (2002), but later more substantial roles in horror flick House of Wax (2005), the direct-to-DVD Bottom's Up (2006) and her own TV show, the fish-out-of-water reality series "The Simple Life" (2003).

Hilton also has plans to become a player in the music business, has recorded an album and even started her own music label, Heiress Records, in order to release it.

Hilton is widely scorned for what some see as her narcissism, shallow intellect and materialism and for other things besides, but she seems to be aware of the old adage that there's no such thing as bad publicity and it should be evident even to her detractors that she is ambitious and driven to achieve, rather than simply basking in her family's vast fortune, as do so many other socialites. In fact, performing is only part of her many activities and she has dabbled in designing, writing (one hastens to add, with a professional writer on the team), nightclub management and even marketing video games - all of which feature Paris Hilton, front and center.

During 2007, Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton was jailed for 45 days after being found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction.

The 26-year-old heiress wept when the ruling was announced, and her mother shouted at the prosecutor: "You're pathetic."

One of Ms Hilton's lawyers said the jail sentence was unfair.

"To sentence Paris Hilton to 45 days in jail to me was uncalled for, inappropriate and bordered on the ludicrous. I think she was singled out because she's who she is," Howard Weitzman said.

During the first few days of her prison sentence she was temporarily released and sent to hostpital because of an undisclosed pyschological illness. She was then sentenced back to jail by the judge and ordered to carry out the rest of her sentence.

Hilton successfully completed her 23 day jail sentence and an emotional Paris was released and immediately jetting off for a holiday in Hawaii.

During Paris' prison sentence, Paris has been spending her days in a California jail catching up on her correspondence with fans, who are sharing their letters with media.

It was rumoured before Paris Hiltons jail sentence that she signed a multi-million dollar deal to write a book about her ordeal in prison. Watch this space..
